Our core business is in the area of Executive Search/Headhunting and Consulting. Lorraine has extensive executive search experience across all industries, particularly recruiting for C-suite executives and Senior Management. Ms Mphahlele is also a member of the panel of senior experts for the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)
She has worked for various Multinational firms like Revlon as Promotions Manager and Wella South Africa as Marketing and Sales Manager. She also spent some time at the Transnet Foundation as Marketing and Communications Manager before setting up her own business in 2001. Also, Ms Mphahlele was an Executive Coach at Change Partners, Chief Executive at Leaders Unlimited – a local executive search firm as well as a Principal at Pedersen & Partners – an international executive search firm.
Lorraine completed her O’levels at Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa. She holds a Social Science degree from the University of Swaziland, an MSc in Leadership & Change from Leeds Beckett University UK. Her experience in starting and managing business dates back to the mid 90’s and has equipped her with hands on business planning, marketing, capital raising and strong leadership skills. Lorraine is a Certified NLP Coach, Certified Practitioner of Time Line Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming.
As a mother, an African woman, a speaker and an Executive coach on holistic leadership development solutions, she has highly developed self-awareness and is committed to the development of talent in the African continent. She truly believes that South Africa is rich with “crème of the crop of African talent”. This talent has a role to play in the urgent development of younger African talent, as “a thing that we all do all the time”.
