Tsoane Mphahlele has a BA in law and Politics from Wits, an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Hull (UK), a diploma in Strategic Business Management from the City University of New York and an Agency Management Training Certificate from the Life Insurance and Marketing Association in Connecticut, USA. He also has a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Australian Institute of Business.
He has been a member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa and an onboarded Compliance Officer having satisfied the experience and criteria for approval under para 4 of Board Notice 127 under the terms managed by the Financial Services Board (FSB) now the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA).
He has extensive senior management experience at the levels of COO, MD, CEO and Divisional Director largely in the financial services sector and more particularly the retail distribution and management strategic side of life assurance where he has accumulated experience in the vicinity of 25 plus years in total.
He has also served in the sectors of housing development with the PHPT (People’s Housing Partnership Trust) in conjunction with UN Habitat, UNDP and ROAS regional office as well as the Department of Housing.
He has been involved in re-engineering, right sizing, and restructuring at the levels of MD and Executive from in such fields as broad support engineering manufacturing and workshop repair to life assurance companies.
He has also been involved in the executive recruitment, selection, training and placement of personnel in the life assurance industry as part of his functions at various levels of management through-out his career. He has vast disciplinary and appellate tribunals conflict management experience and expertise which he now brings to bear forth for Leadership Talent.
